4 Pro Tips to Keep Your Car Looking Like New Between Mobile Detailing Services

Life is busy, but your car doesn’t have to suffer because of it.

Your car can still look nice between detailing sessions. A few simple habits will keep it the way you want it, and you don’t even have to do them yourself. Recruit your spouse or the kids to handle them on the weekends.

1. Microfiber power

A microfiber rag or two in the center console goes a long way. Dust and grime build up over time, so wipe down the steering wheel, dashboard and other plastic surfaces to keep the interior from looking dirty and unkempt.

2. A handheld vacuum

This little guy makes a big difference. Go over the floor mats once a week to pick up dirt, crumbs and who knows what else.

Pro tip: consider upgrading to all-weather mats. They’re easier to clean (just shake them out or rinse them off) and they protect your carpet better.

3. Preserve your seats

Messes happen. Whoops, there goes some food on the seats. Quick-to-use cleaning wipes can save you from stains that seem impossible to get out later.

Action item: keep a small pack of wipes and some stain remover in the car. You never know when they’ll come in handy.

4. Park under the open sky

You might have heard it’s better to park under trees for shade. But tree sap and bird droppings are hard to remove and tough on your paint. Keep your car in the open to keep it in great condition, and a ceramic coating adds another layer of protection.

The best part about these tips is that they don’t take hours of work. They just take a little effort from you, or your family members.

When it’s time for a full reset, book a mobile detail and we’ll come to you.
